The Famos Duo is one of the most sought-after wedding acts on the Sunshine Coast and across SE QLD, and for good reason. Led by Kristen Famularo, original co-founder of The Famos & Co, as the lead guitarist and vocalist, alongside a talented female vocalist who complements his sound beautifully.
Kristen works with several amazing professional female vocalists to form a duo with a thick blend of harmonies covering soulful ballads and upbeat hits to create a musical experience that makes each wedding day special and memorable.

For live/DJ combo packages, The Famo's Duo will be paired with one of our experienced professional wedding DJs, who will take over when the live music portion of the package ends, seamlessly transitioning into DJing to keep the party going all night long.
They limit themselves to 50 weddings a year so don't miss out!

A Few Things Couples Often Ask
-Does the Famos Duo also DJ? Kristen focuses on live music, so for live + DJ combo packages, he’s usually paired with one of our professional wedding DJs — all experienced live mixers — who take over and keep the dancefloor pumping for the rest of the night.
-Can the Famos Duo learn my special song? Yes, in many cases. They are happy to learn one new song for a key moment (such as your aisle song or first dance), provided there’s plenty of notice. We’ll always check with them first to make sure they can do the song justice and have time to rehearse it properly before confirming.
-Do we choose every song? You can be as involved as you like. We’ll ask for song selections for key moments (like your ceremony and first dance), and from there, you’re welcome to trust the duo to take care of the rest. Or if you’d like more input, you can share your music tastes to help guide their choices for live music sets. For MP3s and DJ music, you can leave it entirely up to the professionals, give a few suggestions, or create your own playlists — whatever feels right for you.
